PokerTX is an independent poker-review desk run from Texas. We exist to answer one question for Lone Star State players: when the only real-money option is offshore, which sites are actually safe to play?
The name says it plainly: poker, in Texas. We're based here and we play here, and we built the site around the specific problem Texans face. Online poker isn't regulated in the state, so the only real-money games are offshore — which means the hard part isn't finding a site, it's knowing which of those international rooms you can actually trust. Sorting that out is the whole job.
What we do
We review the offshore poker rooms that accept Texas players the way a careful player would. We open an account, deposit, play real hands, and request a withdrawal — then we report what actually happened. Where money and the law are concerned, we cite our sources and update the page when Texas legislation or an operator's terms move. We rank rooms on safety and payout reliability first, and bonuses last.
